I have a Boston Terrier/Cocker Spaniel mix named Miney. Her whole name is Hermoine Anne Gogh. Hermoine came from the fact that I said on the way home after getting her "she is mine-y" and that was it. Then my daughter and I elaborated on it and decided it should be Hermoine after the little girl from Harry Potter, Anne is my middle name and Gogh is my daughter's favorite artist (we come from a family of artists and craft-0-holics). She is my companion and we have a lot of fun with her.
With the housing crisis going on, so many nice dogs are being abandoned....and Palmdale has a 2 dog rule...everywhere else in Los Angeles county the limit is 3 dogs. I would love to have a 3rd dog, and could provide quite well for one, but am not "allowed". How many other people would help here, but for the restrictions? And really, what's the difference between 2 and 3? I understand limits to avoid kennel situations in residential areas, but this is ridiculous.
my mom and i have chosen trixie because she does lots of trix and i don't know where the e part came from we just came up with it so it must have come from me like trtixe take away the m and then u have e trixie.
We are of german descent and my teenage son is into researching our ancestory. So when we got a schnottie puppy (schnauzer/scottie mix) it was only appropriate that we call her Schnitzle.
One Piece character. ;)
I call my dog Fiffy because it's a cute name and he's cute.
Named her after the town I bought her in. Kidder, MO.
Our German Shorthaired Pointer is named Lazarus because he was born dead. After 20 minutes of stimulating his heart, he came back to life! (Like the biblical Lazarus)
The dogue had a green and beige collar when we adopted him. His name was originally 'Zeus,' but we began calling him 'Zeus Monster' over the following months. This name was then abbreviated to 'Zooma' for the sake of convenience. Occasionally, we refer to him as 'Zoomatchka' in keeping with our Russian heritage.
My dog's name is Highway. We named him Highway after the song "Life is a Highway".
