Prince Harry, a mix Golden with Cocker has freckles on his nose, similar to the English (stupid)prince. Since the rescue shelter did not have a name for him, this was a good fit.

I named my dog Princess because it was the best name for her. I rescued her from foothill blvd in pomona. Someone left her tied up to a lightpost. My heart droped when I saw her little eyes and skinny body. I took her home and after a few days i relized that she now was living like a "princess", so that became her name. People do look oddly when I call a 60lb pit bull Princess. I just smile.

We chose the name Bandit for our Australian Healer,Beagle and Pit Bull mix because when he was a baby his face looked like a bandit.His whole face was black except for around his eyes. Well of course now that he's older he has absolutely NO black on his face except for a think stripe...

because she is a pitt rescue that I knew would be bigger than the average bear, so I wanted her to have a sweet name to go with her personality. as it turns out she is a 90 lb lap dog:-)

I have a black and silver miniature schnauzer. He received his name for his agressive nature and toughness.
He thinks he's big and strong but he's just a little guy (under 20 pounds. The name came from
the Movie "The Gladitor" because our "Max" has the heart of a warrior.

dont have a dog but will have one some day hopefully. Being a fan of Schopenhauer, who could only live with dogs(poodles"young shopenhauer", not german shepherds) I intend to name it after the philosopher. Thought I was the only one with this idea.

Named my little Bischon Friese/Shih Tzu puppy Suki because I think it means "adorable". However, all I ever call her is "Baby".

I have a beagle. Thought the name was cute, like a flower.

I named him after the bird in the movie, "Dumb and Dumber."
