We named our dog Briscoe after Lenny Briscoe from law and Order. We LOVE the show and the character and we hope someday to have a little "Logan" dog as well:)
Our Kona is a Chocolate Lab..perfect name for him.
We named our new little Boston Terrier puppy Fizzgig. She had to battle Parvo earlier this week but she's almost over it and happy and as playful as ever.
We chose the name because we were looking for a name starting with "M" and we heard on the news that there was a tropical storm named Mindy.
I chose Macy because I had an 8 year old American Eskimo named Barney. I love to shop so I thought it would be cool to have 2 dogs both named after Dept Stores. Had Macy been a male, her name would have been Nordy.
My guitar-playing husband suggested the name and I wasn't fond of it initially, until I realized if I agreed to name the dog Django, there would be no chance of it coming up as a suggestion for a kid!!!LOL!It turns out it was a great choice for the dog!!!
He's our second dog of the same breed - wire fox terrier. NOT son of, but second for our family.
Get it? Deuce - like in a card game ( ace, deuce, etc.)
We adopted Briscoe from the Pasadena Humane Society shortly after the death of actor Jerry Orbach. I love Law and Order (as well as his other work) so we decided to name our new pup Briscoe after his character Detective Lenny Briscoe. He likes to sniff and hunt so we figure his ranking is apt.
I didn't pick it...he came with it when I adopted him. Apparently he was originally christened "Bingo" & they changed it. Which is good, b/c he's so NOT a "Bingo". He's very much a "Gordon", though. Whatever that may be...
Our Dino is very handsome but kind of a doofus and we wanted something "fun" Italian so "Dino" fit the bill. He also is a great crooner when local emergency vehicles pass, so it makes it even more appropriate. He is just the perfect Dino.
