I named her Lucy because she was always getting into mischief, and she is such a comedian.

Since the Chihuahua is considered from Mexico, I named mine Mijo meaning "my boy or my son" in Spanish.

I loved the softness of the letters "l" and "e" in her name and she was such a sweet gentle giant. I loved calling her "Keel". My sweet doggie died from a brain tumor on 5/22/08 - she was 12 1/2 years old and loved by her mommy, daddy, sister & canine sister.

We miss her tremendously. Our lives are emptier & our hearts heavier without our sweet doggie.

I got my Jack Russell that I named Pinta when she was 4 weeks old. I named her Pinta because she had a pink nose with black spots and spots on her face and body so she reminded me of a pinto bean. In the spanish language you change the o to an a to make it feminine so I changed pinto to pinta and thats how the cutest lil dog in the world got her name.

Someone else had named her litter mate Molly, so we wanted something to go with that. She looks like a Holly....so cute and freckled. And she hid under a holly bush when we first got her. It all just came together to make her Holly.
