I chose the name because my lhasa apso kinda has a muffin shaped head from his haircut. It's a cute name and mostly everyone agrees!

Found out that our chihuahua was born on John Lennon's birthday, so picked a song title (Sexy Sadie) associated with him. I guess we could have called her Yoko.

She's a Jack Russell, which we adopted, and we believe the previous owner called her Kelsey after Kelsey Grammer, in Frasier. The TV series Frasier features a Jack Russell dog, but I don't know the name, never watched the show

The reasons for my Female Maltese Service Dog having the name Manina is simple and unique. She is named after my Maternal Grandmothers's nickname.
My Grandmother was named Margarita, as far as I know one of her grandchildren when learning to speak could no say Abuelita, (grandmother in Spanish), so since he/she had listened to people call her Margarita he/she came up with Manina.

The day we were going to pick Manina up , my month was thinking of names for her like, Preciosa, Linda etc. I walked in my mom's room and told her that I wanted my dog to have a totally unique name. I went to my room to think and when I got to my room the name Manina came to mind and I decided that this would be her name. I was not sure as to how my Mom would look at her being named liked that so I went as asked her permission to use that name. My Mom's eyes welled up with tears and she said that was not only a great choice but that this would be here name.

My Mom passed away 02/12/08 and every time I think of her I just look at Manina and remember that day which is one of the most special day in my life.

Our corgi's full name is Sir Toby Muggs and he's a real character. "Toby" was named after my wife's collection of small Royal Doulton character mugs. Toby is the only dog I know who will lie on his back in a submissive posture while barking aggressively (if you stop rubbing his belly).
