what is really upsetting living in Palmdale for the past 4 years & unwillingly due to my employment here, is that dogs & cats are abandoned & abused daily here. Every single day I see cats & dogs dead by the side of the road. Overwhelmingly, there is no respect for the lives of animals here. Dogs, especially pitt bulls, are used for protection. Most dogs are left outside in all kinds of weather, when it's 20 degrees outside or 119 degrees, people don't care.
