E. Power Biggs was an internationally celebrated concert organist who appeared with the Boston Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestra.
He produced numerous recordings of classical pipe organ music and was a huge factor in bringing the classical pipe organ back to prominence.
Biggs won first place among organists in Musical America's annual poll of music on the air multiple times. It was an honor voted him by 600 music editors and critics of daily newspapers in the United States and Canada.
Biggs performed concerts all over the country and from 1942 to 1958 he broadcast a weekly radio program from Adolphus Busch Hall on the campus of Harvard University.
