His persona and talent have been part of my life. Although his film career contained excellent performances at par with any of the greats, it is, of course, his TV roles as Perry Mason, Ironsides, and again, Perry Mason that captured my heart and admiration for his talent. Some things create a feeling that all is right with the world. Like Frank Sinatra's singing, Raymond Burr's voice, smile and eyes that look through to your soul create that sensation also.
https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/raymond-burr/#c184511Melanie about McEntire, Reba https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/reba-mcentire/#c184501
I love Reba McEntire!!! I am so excited I'm the first comment here! I have loved Reba all my life. I own lots of her CD's and have watched every episode of her show. I recently dyed my hair red so I could be like her. The closest I have ever got to Reba was walking down to the stage at the Grand Ole Opry last spring. I was shaking!!! I would love to meet her, hug her and maybe even perform with her. ( I'm a drummer) I just got back from the walk of fame in California but sadly didn't get a chance to find her star, that would have been cool!!!
https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/reba-mcentire/#c184501Marcia Graham about Kelly, Gene https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/gene-kelly/#c183193
Mt first experience of Gene Kelly was when I was a little kid. We had a record player and somehow we had these wonderful singing story albums with Gene's humanistic kid happy voice. Thank you so much for your work, your passion and what you brought to people who were able to vision.
https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/gene-kelly/#c183193Carol Lombard Clark about Lombard, Carole https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/carole-lombard/#c183178
i was named after Carole Lombard ... My Mother Loved her and her films and my Mother's last name was Lombard and my Father's last name was Clark... So I got her name.. I Love her movies as well... She left this world way too early.. I am so glad to have her stage name...
https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/carole-lombard/#c183178Richard Sloan about Stewart, Anita https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/anita-stewart/#c183173
I'm doing research on one of Anita Stewart's lost films --"Lincoln the Lover," which she co-starred in with Ralph Ince in 1914, and on her younger brother George, who Ince beat up in a car, during a drunken fight. Looks like no charges were brought up agst. him. I read that Anita cared for Georgie at her Hollywood home thereafter. But he made quite a few movies after that. SO how badly was he injured, anyway? Anybody know? I found that the cottage she had built for herself in Brightwaters, L.I. still stands, and looks very much as it did in 1914 when it was built. (I've been inside it!) Ince's mansion, across a lake from Anita's, still stands, too!
The internet says that as of the summer of 2015, Anita's H'wood mansion has been in ruins for years and is about to be torn down. (You can see pictures of the ruins on line!) But I can't find any updates. Does anybody out there have any information on any of these topics ??
https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/anita-stewart/#c183173Karen Wayland about Powell, Dick https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/dick-powell/#c183172
As a child I remember watching so many great shows on TV W/ DICK POWELL He was multi talented. He was ahead of his time. He was great in drama or comedy.;/or as a singer, director & producer. I was very sad when he died. I felt so sorry for June Alyson. He died far too young. His contribution to Entertainment is his Legecy. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER LIKE HIM. Thank you Mr. Powell.

https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/dick-powell/#c183172Tom about Willock, Dave https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/dave-willock/#c183162
Looks like David cryer
https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/dave-willock/#c183162Ruth king about Flynn, Errol https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/errol-flynn/#c183151
After the birth of my daughter, remy, 1982, while staying up late at night....fell in love....watching Errol Flynn movies...remy died two years ago....but keep my fond memories
https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/errol-flynn/#c183151Monika about Lemmon, Jack https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/jack-lemmon/#c183150
He made it ALL look so effortless.. what a magnificent & professional actor..
He was quite the extraordinary gentleman in his private life..
You sir, were truly enjoyed & now so sadly missed.
Thank you for your magnificent memories that you left us either laughing
crying or so in love with your character's role...

May you rest in peace+ "IN"
https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/jack-lemmon/#c183150Tricia Richards about Muir, Jean https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/jean-muir/#c183148
Jean Muir, does deserve her STAR on Hollywood Blvd. I had not known about her until watching TCM on 1/29/16. She was a beautiful, talented actress, that didn't deserve those accusations about her being a communist. She also looks like a "natural" beauty, without cosmetic surgery help. Again, I'm glad she has her STAR on Hollywood Blvd.

https://projects.latimes.com/hollywood/star-walk/jean-muir/#c183148
