Polish-born George Stone was best known for his gangster roles on film. He appeared in such movies as "The Man With the Golden Arm," "Guys and Dolls" and the Boston Blackie series. He was so often cast in henchman and thug roles, that he found work in few films outside the genre
His career spanned 40 years, beginning with vaudeville and ending with television. He appeared regularly on the Perry Mason series.
Stone was born in Lodz, Poland, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 10.
