Jack Carson was a big, affable actor and comedian.

Some of the top films in which he appeared were "Rally 'Round the Flag, Boys!," "A Star Is Born," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "The Bride Came C.O.D.," "Gentleman Jim," "The Male Animal," "Mildred Pierce," "Arsenic and Old Lace" and a series he did with Dennis Morgan, "Two Guys from Texas" and other "Two Guys" features.

Carson's last appearance was on Disney's television show "The Wonderful World of Color."
