Mae Busch's motion picture career began in early-day Keystone comedies and reached a peak in the 1920s when she was one of the screen's leading actresses.

She first appeared in stage roles, then in vaudeville. At the height of her film career she was known as the "versatile vamp."

After an absence of years Busch returned to film and appeared in two productions, "Masquerade in Mexico" and "Stork Club."
