Mitzi Green was a child actress in the 1930s, with screen credits including “Tom Sawyer,” “Huckleberry Finn” and “Paramount on Parade.” She was the first child star to sign a multipicture contract with Paramount.
She worked with such stars as Jackie Coogan and Jackie Cooper. At 14, she was cast in her first adult role, in the musical comedy "Transatlantic Merry-Go-Round" (1934).
Her trademarks were long bangs and a tag line, “I’ve got a secret.”
She married director Joseph Pevney.
