Virginia Valli was a Chicago-born actress who came to Hollywood in the early 1920s as a Paramount star.
Valli appeared in many silent films and early talking pictures, co-starring with such actors as William Powell in "Paid to Love" and Ronald Colman in "Clothes Make the Man".
She married movie idol Charles Farrell in 1931 and later moved to Palm Springs where they were active in promoting the desert spa as a celebrity city.
