Eddie Jordan

Guard, #15 (also wore #5 )

Eddie Jordan was acquired from the Ney Jersey Nets during the 1980-81 season for a 1982 first-round draft pick (Eddie Phillips). He was a member of the Lakers' 1982 NBA championship team (he played in only three games, however), and was one of the best ball stealers in NBA history, tying for the league lead in steals with New Jersey during the 1978-79 season and finishing second in the 1979-80 season.

Jordan was traded to the San Diego Clippers along with Norm Nixon and a 1986 first-round pick (Jeff Hornacek) for Swen Nater, Byron Scott and a 1987 second-round pick (Bruce Dalrymple).

Jordan became a coach after his playing days ended and led the Washington Wizards to four consecutive playoff berths before being fired after a 1-10 start in the 2008-09 season. He coached the Philadelphia 76ers to a 27-55 record in the 2009-10 season and was dismissed after the season ended.
