Guard, #11

Selected by the Lakers in the first round of the 1971 NBA draft, the 6-foot-3 guard was used sparingly in 38 games during the team’s 1971-72 championship season.

After his rookie season, he was traded to Cleveland for a future second-round pick (Billy Knight). The former Ohio State standout went on to play eight more seasons in the NBA before retiring in 1980. Cleamons, who coached the Dallas Mavericks for parts of two seasons from 1996-98, has been a part of five Lakers championship teams as an assistant coach under Coach Phil Jackson. He also won four NBA titles as an assistant under Jackson with the Chicago Bulls.
