Selected seventh overall by the Lakers in 2014 NBA draft, Julius Randle was expected to bring a much-needed jolt of youth and size to an aging Lakers lineup in 2014-15.
However, those expectations were dashed when the former Kentucky star suffered a fractured right tibia during the team's season-opening loss to the Houston Rockets. Randle underwent successful surgery to repair the fracture the next day, and the Lakers announced he miss the rest of the season.
