Rush played a little over two seasons with the Lakers, from 2002-04, and displayed sporadic flashes of brilliance. His proudest moment as a Laker came in May of 2004, when the 6-foot-6 guard made six of seven three-pointers to help eliminate Minnesota in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals. But he was also prone to droughts, and was consistently nagged by a sore tendon in his right ankle. He was traded to the Charlotte Bobcats on Dec. 6, 2004.
