Forward, #4

An exceptional all-around talent, the 6-8 Walton is particularly strong as a passer, especially for a big man. Drafted out of Arizona by the Lakers in 2003, Walton enjoyed his best season in 2006-07 when he averaged 11 points and four assists a game.

Like his Hall of Fame father, Bill, Luke has struggled with injuries particularly his back. A two-time NBA champion — again, just like his father — Luke was named for Bill’s Portland teammate, the late Maurice Lucas.

Walton, who signed a six-year, $30-million deal following the 2006-07 season, has seen his playing time off the bench steadily decrease in recent years. He averaged a career-low nine minutes per game in 2010-11 and also posted career lows in points and rebounds.
