After five seasons in the ABA, Marv Roberts signed with the Lakers as a free agent in 1976. The 6-foot-8 center averaged 2.1 points and 0.9 rebounds in the 1976-77 season, his only one in the NBA. He became a member of the National Basketball Retired Players Assn.
