Leonard spent four years in Minneapolis and one in L.A. as the Lakers' point guard before being selected by the Chicago Zephyrs in the 1961 NBA expansion draft.

He has been a color commentator for the Indiana Pacers since 1985, with his trademark phrase "Boom, Baby!" being heard after every successful Pacers three-pointer.
