Signed by the Lakers in September 2013, Henry averaged 10 points per game in his first season with the team despite playing in a reserve role most of the season. He spent part of the season with the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the development league and underwent surgery in April to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist.
The Lakers re-signed Henry to a one-year, $1 million deal in July 2014.
Henry, a former standout at Kansas, was selected 12th overall in the 2010 NBA draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. He played for the New Orleans Hornets before signing with the Lakers.
