Greg was my cousin. This should never had happened--to survive one crash and then to die in another one. The last time I saw Greg was in 2006 at his father's funeral. We all had talked about getting together for a trip to California but we never got around to doing it and now it can't. I know it will be hard for Michelle and Andrew for some time but hopefully family will help them through this very difficult time. Rest In Peace, Greg.

I read the bios of those who died on the train, and it appears they were all very special people. It's tragic events like this happen in life, but they do, all too often. For some reason we always want to place blame on someone or something to justify what has happened. Sadly, it doesn't change anything, nor does it comfort the loved ones of the deceased. Try to keep the memories of the loved and lost close to your heart, and not harbor hate. What's done is done. It's our job to pick up the pieces and make the best out of what's left of our lives. My deepest sympathies go out to the families and friends of the victims of this unfortunate occurance.

To his family my deepest condolences I know they are going thru a hard time. Whatever Mistake he did has NOTHING to do with his family, they are after all just like the rest of us who also lost someone on that train.
As for Mr. Sanchez I guess for him it should be a sign of relief to be counted amongst the tragedies, because I am sure he would have not had peace if he was still alive knowing the responsibility he had at having so many people killed... it is hard to forgive and forget, but as someone else said it will definitely not bring our beloved ones back.

We met Chuck through our friend Andrea, his fiance. He was a wonderful man and made her very, very happy. It's hard to believe this has happened - he was so close to moving to CA and getting married...it's almost unbearable to think about. To Chucks family, remember the good times and know he loved you all. To Andrea, we adored him and are so sorry for your loss. God bless you all.

I've had the pleasure to meet Walt by playing softball with him every week. He will be greatly missed.

Doyle was a student of mine at Lone Star School in Colorado when he was in the 7th grade. It was my first year of teaching and he was always a "bright spot" in my work day. Along with being a great student, he was a kind, gently, popular young man.
Doyle will be greatly missed by his family and friends in Colorado as well as the ones in California.

I just sat next to her last week on the train. The conductor asked her and another officer to remove a passenger from the train who was on crack. Although she was half asleep, she got up. I saw her a few times on that train and she was always with her ipod. I can't believe that I was just sitting right next to her last week and now she is gone. Who would have known. May God rest her soul.
