Gabby,

Meja, tears poured down my face on Friday night as I watched you speak on behalf of your family, desperate to find your sister. I cried again when I read Aida did not survive. I'm so, so sorry. Please tell your brother, Juan and your parents that all will be well again. When I pray for you all I imagine Jesus hugging you all close to Him. Even though we will never meet I am thankful and honored for the opportunity to pray for you all. When you feel too weak to go on, God will give you what you need.

Speechless......We are in shock and deeply saddened! Mr. Long was our English & Bible teacher at Grace Brethren throughout high school. He was a wonderful teacher who cared deeply about his students. He will forever be in our hearts and memories. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and son. There is no doubt in our minds that he touched many lives and will be greatly missed. We lost a great man on this earth, but we have peace knowing that Heaven received one more angel.

If things happen for a reason, then surely your darling Atul is there in heaven as a star to light our way. I only knew him,Aseem and lovely Ruby briefly during Santa Sue, occasionally having the priviledge of driving the boys to and fro with my son Charlie. Aseem led the way for his brother. We both are shocked but grateful to have known this bright, shining, stellar young man. Heartfelt condolences and peace to Atul's entire family.

I haven't met you in person neither online, but based on the comments, i could tell you're a wonderful and kind young man. Somebody else should have been taken, someone whom the country needs to punish....not you, a young man who could have made a huge difference in saving other people's lives in hospitals or clinics..and not just professionally but also within the group of people who know you personally...

This shouldn't have happened to you, neither to the other 24 who didn't make it...

God bless your soul. RIP !!! My condolences to your family and friends..

After reading this his last testiment spoken from his lovely friends and family left behind. I have been absolutly touched by the life he lived. In times like these I wonder if the people that passed had given their lives to the Lord. Or, If someone has been able to mister the the families that lost loved ones. I find the comfort Ive been looking for just knowing that this man Doyle is in the arms of our great father. To his family please find comfort in knowing that the life he lived for the lord and his family have echoed even though he is no longer with you, here on earth that is. My prayers are with you...

Although I never had the pleasure of having a class with Mr. Long, I got to know him. He always took time to say hi to me in the hallway and ask how I was. If I ever needed help and my teacher wasn't availabile, he was always there to help me. He always had a smile on his face and always was eager to help. You could see the passion he had for teaching in his eyes and how he would get so excited to come and help someone. He always had his jokes to try and make you laugh. He took time out of his day to help others and to support them. He was at as many event in every sport that he could have been. He loved every student and he loved the school. He had only been at Oaks for a year but he has made a lifetime impact.

It's so hard to think a man with such a good heart and amazing character is gone, but I know he is in a better place. You have made a difference in many people's lives, especially mine. You have taught me to always live my life to the fullest and to love everyone no matter what. You were so good to everyone and so kind and forgiving. I could only dream of having the type of character and love and passion that you had for everyone and everything that you did. May God help your family and bless them and help them through this time because I know you loved them very much and you would want everyone that is grieving for you to be happy and to take a part of your amazing character and live it through thier own lives, I know I will. We all love you Mr. Long, you're an unforgettable man. You're going to be missed greatly.

Love Always,
Melody

Wow I didn't know Doyle but i was reading all the amazing things said about him and was in tears over his testimony that obviously was so evident to all the people that knew him. How beautifully people talked about him and love him. His powerful life seems as though it impacted many people and to see scripture quoted for so many people to read is amazing and God will be glorified. My prayer is that people will come to know the Lord through His amazing testimony of faith and passion for Christ. We need more bold men like that that are not ashamed of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior! To God be the Glory for this mans life. I pray that i can only be used as he was by the Lord. It pushes others to want to love Jesus More!
