For the first sixteen years of my life, my mother and I didn't get along because we had different interests and beliefs. When I came back from Hawaii three weeks ago, my mother and I grew so close so fast. We were cracking jokes the moment I came back, hanging out like we've been the best of friends, going on shopping sprees like little High School girls, and just being the best of friends. Next thing I know, I received a phone call from my Aunt Debbie saying that there was a train accident. I waited a while and by five, I knew she was on that train.

All I can say is I'm glad I was able to make up with her before I lost her. I loved my mom and will foreverly love her. She was a wonderful mom and I never knew the extent of her love for me until those two weeks we grew close. I love you, Mom, and I know you are happy up in Heaven. <3

When i heard that Mr. Grace had died, i was completly shocked and i couldn't wipe my tears off. I graduated Roosevelt at the year 2006 when he was my greatest counselor. He was the kind of man that I would talk to about anything. He was warm-hearted and felt like family to me. Every question I had, Mr. Grace had an answer. He basically gave me good advices when i attended roosevelt. I will always remember Mr. Grace and may his soul rest in peace.

He was my counceler from 6th-8th grade. I knew he was a nice guy the second I saw him talking to the 5th graders selected to join the RMS crew for 6th grade. Roosevelt was the best school EVER and he was one of the reasons why. I remember me and my budds going up to him asking to change our classes to get us out of our advanced English class but he believed in us and insisted that we stay. It turned out I went from an "F" to a "B" thanks to MR.Grace. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING MR.GRACE. You will be missed.

RIP

Mr. Long was a great English teacher. Besides the obvious curriculum, there were so many things he taught us. I'll never forget how funny he was in class or how much he liked Harry Potter. There are so many good memories from the class it's hard to pick one, but it's probably when he got mad at us, and half way through out lecture he forgot what he was mad about and started laughing. We love and miss you!

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Ofcr. Spree when we both got promoted as training officers at North Hollywood Division. I was new at that division but felt at home by Ofcr Spree and her smile which would always light up the room. She was a young hard working street cop whom always remained positive, which seemed to pick up everyone elses spirits through tough times. She was definetly a gift from god that will be deeply missed. Take care and God bless Spree, I'll see you in heaven's roll call.
