Paul's mother, Edith Long, was a member at Morningside Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina where I am the Assistant Pastor. I had the privilege of participating in the funeral service for Paul's mother on Wednesday, September 10. Paul spoke at his mother's graveside service that day. Only God knew Paul would meet his mother and father in heaven in only a few days. You may be a friend of Paul or you may not even know him, but you can see him again in heaven if you will trust in Jesus Christ alone to forgive your sin and give you eternal life (John 3:16). Praise the Lord Paul was a believer in Jesus Christ!
Greg and I came in as Revenue Officers together, along with Tom C and Jeannie and Roger S. He was a person that walked to the beat of his own drum and had true intelligence and wit. I am stunned to hear of his death and he will be remembered fondly. My heart goes out to his wife and son and they are very much in my thoughts and prayers as are the other victims.
MY PRAYES AND THOUGHTS GO OUT TO DEAN'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS, I DIDN'T KNOW HIM. BUT MY PRAYES ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS YOU ALL..ANA
My deep condolences to the entire family during this most terrible time. I love iced coffee because of Manuel - he couldn't drink it one day because he had to rush off to yoga class after having lunch with Melissa - so Melissa gave it to me! I know he will be missed forever by his friends and family. Melissa, please let me know if there is anything I can do. Sending many prayers and loving thoughts to you and your family. -jeri
I've worked with Roger for so many years. We shared a lot of laughs, talked about our dogs, music, his grand daughter that he was so proud of and he always checked up on how my violin playing was doing. Roger knew when I was having a bad day, he'd give me a hug each time telling me that things will be better.
Roger once told me that his mother had a wonderful singing voice and I knew he did too with the way he whistled. In the morning production meetings, while we sit and wait, sometimes he starts to whistle and I jump in, or sometimes I start and he jumped in. Yeah, I enjoyed the harmony we shared when we whistled. It always made me smile.
I will miss you very much Roger.
My deepest sympathy to his family. May Love and Light be with you always.
Gabby,
It wasn't until this morning that I learned about your tragic loss...I was glued to the TV Friday, and you so touched me. I cried seeing the fear and pain in your face and I prayed your sister was among the living...but I am sick to find out she's gone, (to heaven)! Since the Friday night TV coverage of the accident, I've kept you close in my thoughts and prayers, determined to find out the outcome of your sister. I now know, and I am truly, truly saddened. I didn't know Aida, but I can tell from all the comments written, that she was a beautiful person!!
I DID NOT KNOW DENNIS , BUT HE SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT MAN, MY PRAYES AND THOUGHTS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. GOD BLESS . ANA
First of all I want to begin by saying I am so sorry for the loss of Maria Elena. I also was one of the many who seen Maria's Mom on T.V. Friday night. When I seen her waiting to hear from her daughter on Friday Night just broke my heart. I was praying to GOD that she would be able to reunite with her daughter. She was on my mind the whole night. And when I seen the news Saturday night it broke my heart to see Maria's aunt crying for her loss. It made me shed plenty of tears myself. My condolences go out to The Villalobo's Family for losing such a beautiful angel. I'm also sure that Maria will always be looking down on the whole family. R.I.P Maria Elena Villalobos
I'd only known Rog for around 5 years, and only saw him when visiting LA from Seattle on business. But I always would take the time to go and chat football (soccer) with him. We always laughed a lot together, he was such a happy soul.
What a wonderful Englishman.
I am going to send my Chelsea shirt to his co-workers at Anderson Printing where hopefully they will it hang on the bindery wall in remembrance of him.
God bless you Roger.
Cheers Rich
