It has been a few years since the tragic accident. Today I learned of the death of Mike. So sad. I worked with him for many years. I will never forget Mike.

I did not know Spree. But for some reason I think about her and feel her positive energy every day. I worked in Simi Valley and I have a domestic partner that I cherish. At the time of the accident I saw a beautiful black female officer on the news that said she kept trying to call Spree on her cell phone and got no response. I do not know if that was her partner or not, and it does not matter. I just cannot forget the love I felt between these two wonderful women.... and my heart goes out to both of you.... every day. If there is any place in Spree's name that I can send a donation, I would be happy to.

Chris was a really sweet guy and a great neighbor, he made Sharon and the girls so happy. I know that he will always be looking out for them. My heart goes out to everyone that is still missing him.

Dennis and I played together at many gigs-- including steadily with The Iron Mountain Boys for years.

Dennis was a fine, generous human being, an excellent singer and guitar player.

I discovered this obituary shortly after Thanksgiving, 2010.

I think of you often, Dennis, and the companionship we shared as band members.

It was only a rumor to my ears. It was never verified in my circle of friends until today. Sadly, I'm a bit too late to offer proper condolences to Manuel's family, friends and loved ones.

Though we were only casual acquaintances during high school, I enjoyed working with you for that brief time for the SPESD. We shared some laughs while cleaning the schools during the summer.

It deeply saddens me to hear of your passing.
May your memory live on forever and may your family have peace and blessings beyond measure.

Respectfully,

M

Well Donna, it's been two years and I still see your name floating around. Your "aura" still exist.

You're still missed.

What a tremendous loss to the citizens and city of LA, the LAPD and most importantly Officer Gerritsen and the DeSha family. I offer my prayers to you all.

I'll always remember DeeDee's wedding. It was a big deal for me to be included. And I will always remember Easter at the house, DeeDee dressed as the Easter Bunny and all the good food from Larry's side of the family. It's difficult sometimes to have to deal with tragedy, but I hope that she and the family knows that they are always in my heart. Remembering my cousin. Love you ~M~

@Jim Osborn:

Sanchez was warned NUMEROUS TIMES not to text while driving that train.

HE CHOSE TO IGNORE THOSE WARNINGS, and now 25 people are dead, many are permanently injured, and lives are shattered.

The wreck was 100% HIS FAULT.

I worked with Howard at Blue Cross in sales and just loved him. He always made me laugh and would bring his wife's cottage cheese pancakes. I was so shocked to hear of his early and tragic death. He was a class act. He will be missed.
