Chatsworth Metrolink Crash Comments > Page 205
Keep in mind
- The Times initially mispelled the name of Michael Hammersley and Beverly Mosley.
- The coroner's office reported a 26th victim the afternoon of Sept. 15, but a few hours later said the tally was 25.
I work at gusd and I know how hard the counselors are working to help the students to stay on the right track. I am sure that mr.grace was one of them. I went online to find out more about this tragedy. our thoughts are with all the victims' families. I hope all the students will appreciate what they have now and also everyone who helps them on a daily basis, so they don't have any regrets in the future.
Ron was a colleague of mine at Roosevelt Middle School. When I think of Ron, words such as compassionate, kind, generous, sincere, dedicated, etc. all come to my mind. Ron went out of his way to help others. I have seen Ron touch the lives of the students he worked with. He could take the most troubled student in the school and still make a difference in that student's life. He made students believe in themselves. He taught students that any dream is possible if you just work at it. I know a little bit of Ron lives on in each of the thousands of students he has worked with over the past 30 years. Ron will not be forgotten, and he will continue to help others through the lives of those who were touched by him. I truly believe the world is a better place because of him. I feel very fortunate to have known this great man. My heart grieves over his loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and colleagues as they all struggle to deal with this incredible loss.
Gregory Lintner was a great business colleague, exceptionally knowlegable. He was always ready to answer any and all questions his fellow workers had with intense precision. A survivor of the previous Metro train crash in 2005, the memories I have of him will never fade from my mind. Our office will never be the same again.
I met Dennis around March 2000 and I was sitting at the same cubicle with him for about 10 months. He was a very nice man and I loved to talk to him, as he'd always listen to me. It was a pleasure to have met him and I was thinking of him recently about dropping him an e-mail. He made my arrival to this new company for me, a very pleasant experience!
I extend my condolences to his family.

Walt helped train me when I arrived at Burbank. He had a lot of patience (needed it with me!) and was easy-going. He will be missed.

We will always remember u...
My heart aches for his wife, and for his twin step-daughters. Katie and Sammie have baby-sat my kids, and those girls had such respect and love for Chris. When I used to ride the train, Chris was always there in the morning with a ready smile. The world has lost a really decent man.
