Didn't know Dennis, but wrote a song in memory of all those lost.

Beams of Light
(song)

Written In Memory of
the Metro accident

Remember them when the sun falls
Remember them when time calls
Remember them when all hope becomes one

Let love rise through the shadows
Let love heal all that you know
Let love wash over you like the sun

So hold on through that darkest night
The love we love lives on as beams of lights

Remember all the times that we shared
Remember all the times that our faith cared
Remember you and love are one

Light a candle hold to the nights sky
Light a candle let your tears dry
Light a candle let it melt into the sun

Hold on through the dark of night
The love we love lives on as beams of light

Remember them when the sun falls
Remember them when time calls
Remember them when all hope becomes one

In Lasting Memory,

Ron is the Brother-In-Law of my Dearest and closest friend Denise Alexander. The last time I saw him was when I visited Denise Jan, Brian Andrew and Bryn at their home in Simi Valley a few years ago. I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to spend a short, but valuable time with him. I found Ron to be warm, friendly and extremely hospitable. We engaged in interesting conversation about his counseling career. Ron barbecued the most delicious dinner that night, which I enjoyed immensely. We talked about what it was like to be a school counselor and about the young students who he enjoyed getting to know and helping them with their educational choices as well as listening to their personal experiences. He was like a father to Denise' son Bryn.

Jan, Denise, Yvonne, Brian, Andrew, Bryn, Shannon & Family:

May God's Grace and Love comfort you in your deepest hour of sorrow, and may the love of family and friends give you strength. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love Laura

  • The Times initially mispelled the name of Michael Hammersley and Beverly Mosley.
  • The coroner's office reported a 26th victim the afternoon of Sept. 15, but a few hours later said the tally was 25.
