Keep in mind
- The Times initially mispelled the name of Michael Hammersley and Beverly Mosley.
- The coroner's office reported a 26th victim the afternoon of Sept. 15, but a few hours later said the tally was 25.
She was only a senior in high school, and a teammate of mine on the tennis team since my freshman year. She's been taken away too soon. Anyone who knew her can remember her by her beaming smile and infectious laugh. She was so hard-working, compassionate, and friendly- it's hard to imagine a day without seeing her and being touched by her amazing spirit. There will always be a special place for her in my heart.
I had the privilege of knowing and working with Roger for over 13 years. His smiling face and cheery disposition will be missed by all in our workplace as well by family and friends. Roger had a passion for trains as well as life. He was one of those very fortunate people who lived life to the fullest. I will miss our conversations about his life growing up in England, his journey to Australia as a young man, and his other world travels. I was never a soccer fan but enjoyed talking to Roger about English soccer and his hopes that this was the year his beloved Chelsea would go all the way. We are all better people for knowing him. Cheers Roger!

Chris, you touched our lives in ways you cannot even imagine. The strongest picture I have of you in my heart is the amused smile across your face when we were all just too ridiculous for words. I remember you telling me how to be a step-mom, and the example you set with Katie and Sammie. I remember the look of pure joy on your face on your wedding day. With Sharon, you seemed to find such a gentle peace. Although it breaks our hearts that we will not see you again in this lifetime, your loving example, caring friendship, and sheer magnitude of your quiet personality will be with us forever.
Chris, we treasure the short time we had with you. It wasn't enough.
Love always,
Amy and David

Chris was a wonderful man. I knew Chris from working at Adelphia. Although I didn't work that close with him I did know what a good person he was and well liked by his co-workers. He will be missed. My heart is so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. God Bless!
I am so sorry. It just doesn't seem real. I Love Manual dearly and I will never forget how hard he could make me laugh. He was the funniest person I ever knew.
I will be praying for all of you.

I am heartbroken beyond words. Manuel was my first yoga instructor and I feel so blessed to have practiced yoga with him. He was an incredible person.
"Namaste Manuel"....
