As I read these many thought about my consin Doyle, I would like to say that my memories go back to our childhood and school days together at LSHS. May God bless your wife and children as well as your mother Norma and sister JoNell. May God continue to wrap his loving arms around you at this time, and during the years to come. I was talking to Gevo on the phone, then I got a call from my school, and when I heard the message.. the new assistant principal said.. " we will be having a minimum day on monday because something tragic has happened at Roosevelt Middle School" so then I asked Gevo "did you get that message from school?" and he said "no". so then I got another call from my brothers friend's and he told me Mr.Grace died, my jaw busted open.. and I couldn't believe it but it was true. Then I wen't to school and all my teachers at least had a tear in their eye.. especially Mrs.Pascale -.-. So then i just couldn't believe it, Mr. Grace was the reason my brother graduated. Mr.Grace of course is in a better place right now, and he will always be rememberd Rest In Peace Ron Grace we love you.

Your Spirit Lives on!

Because of your warmth and caring demeanor
Your arrival brought smiles to our face

Because we all knew, when we saw you Mike,
Our help was already in place!
Your glowing face had meanings untold, this poem can't begin to describe
But for starters, you were a man of integrity,
With a generous heart you couldn't hide

The City of Los Angeles
has lost a family member ~ never, ever to be replaced!
We never heard an unkind word in anything you had to say
Instead, you gave us balance that makes us proud today
To know you were among us, and in our hearts you will always stay!

With closing thoughts,
few knew you were a major ' Trekkie' fan
So, the Heavens above add another Star to a band of heavenly grace.
My friend, our lives will feel such a void as we process and accept what's true. . .
But know that your spirit lives on and on in
Memory and in Truth!

My familly met Paul and Karen at Thousand Oaks Baptist over 25 years ago where my mother, Carol, was the organist and Karen was the Pianist while Paul lead worship. Paul always had a great knack for choosing the hymns that would tie into the sermon of the day. One of the biggest treats was when Paul was the "substitute preacher" occasionally. He had a way of getting the message across that made you smile and enjoy learning. His love for the Word of God shone through.

Both he and Karen put up with my silly childishness at AWANA and into the youth group as time went on. Such patience with such a rouge! Paul was my history teacher at my brief stint at Liberty Canyon Christian, and again, he helped me learn and do well that year almost effortlessly.

When my mother emailed me the news, I sat in shock and disbelief and finally, tears. I read about the collision in the papers (I was in Thailand at the time and live in London) but couldn't believe that someone I know and respect was taken as a result.

Paul was and is an example of what a true man is and most definitely the epitome a Hero. His example has touched so many lives around the world, and for that, I know God will reward him greatly.

To my dearest brother Al, my Lil' Bro:
This has been the second of two distressing weeks since your tragic passing. With your Birthday on the 22nd and our dear Mom's Birthday on the 24th, it was a difficult time, missing you both. Our wonderful brother, Warren, has been having a difficult time with your loss, as well. My children, Robin and Scott, and Warren's kids, Kathy, Mike and Kelly were your nieces and nephews and you were their uncle, their Uncle Buck. You will be deeply missed by all.
From the Brooks and Dunn song "That ain't no way to go"...
"Train whistle blowin' down the track..lonesome sound..says your not comin' back." Peace be with you as you rest in the arms of our Lord. I miss you, I'll love you forever and you'll always be in my heart. Until we meet again...
Your loving sister, Pat

I did not know Jacob personally, but my two sons attended Palmdale High School years ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and his girlfriend. Jacob sounded like a wonderful human being, and I'm sure his spirit will be with you all, helping you through these hard times.

God Bless You All

My brother as well as myself attended RMS and had the privilege of having Mr. Grace as our counselor. Cant put into words how kind and wonderful of a man he was. Our heart and prayers go out to his family. He will truly be missed! May you rest in Peace!
