Keep in mind
- The Times initially mispelled the name of Michael Hammersley and Beverly Mosley.
- The coroner's office reported a 26th victim the afternoon of Sept. 15, but a few hours later said the tally was 25.
We cannot understand the hole that is in your hearts right now. I wish we could have known Jacob. From all we have heard about him he was a wonderful person. It is an amazing thought that he is with Jesus right now. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Angela and Alan, and your family.
I wasn't on the train and don't know anyone who was. But my God this whole thing is so terrible. I'm so sorry to anyone feeling pain from this. Time will heal wounds...
i am truly sorry for your loss.
i watched the news the day of the horrific accident
and saw this family desperately looking for their love one
i was sadden when the coroners office release the names
of those who were deceased and was touched when i saw your name among the others. my sympathy and love goes out to your fam.and prayers may God have you in his arms.
I dont know you, Chris. I dont know your family but I've read all the messages everyone has left and all the memories and stories from your family, friends and co-workers. I was laughing my head off reading all the fond memories your friends, families and co-workers wrote about you. I realize the kind of a human this man is. That he came from a good close family, like mine, and made me feel like we are all connected as humans through LIFE & LOVE. I just want to tell you that your family, friends, co-workers, and commute friends are in my thoughts and prayers. Nothing, not even death will keep you apart. He seemed like a loving man, who in his short time here on earth gave and received so much love. His friends and family will always celebrate you because I celebrate you and I did not know you. You are so lucky, like me, to have all that in life. Many times people go though life without having any of this or very little of it and from I read his life was Abundant. Its people like this that makes you realize that this world has so much beautiful things to offer. Your family seems very close and with each and every one of you, you will show your family and friends what he taught you. I read this on a card the other day and I remembered it..thinking of you and yours and all the others who lost their loved ones: "Each life is a miracle that comes to this world and leaves it a better place than it was before"...because from what I read he was full of humor, smiles, and most of all LOVE and that alone says so much.
This is for your people Chris: A message from above:
"You are precious to ME. You are honored and I LOVE YOU! ~Isaiah 43:4
Believe!!!!
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Rob, rest in peace brother. As an employee of the transportation industry for 31 years I will impart to all those who cast blame on Robert , Robert was not the only one that should have been watching what was going on. The people who watch the "big board" (just like air traffic controllers) SHOULD have caught the error and notified both trains. Evidently someone else wasnt doing their job. In this industry there is ALWAYS more than one person watching, whether it is air traffic or trains, And that person has a supervisor who is supposedly watching the big picture. I'm sure there is at least two people out there right now who have to LIVE with what happened because they werent paying attention. ROB, all the victims, and families of this tragedy, you are in my prayers. Rest in Peace.
We remember so well the long walk from school, the football teams, the matches and Rogers infectious laughter, in those crazy days near the Beverley Pub.
So long ago, but never forgotten.
Our thoughts are with his family.

Over the last two weeks I have tried to think of how to describe Walt. I keep coming back to a single word, gentleman. Walt was a gentleman. As a gentleman he was a great individual to work with at the FAA and I will miss working with him.
Uncle Chuck and Aunt Pat,
I am sorry to hear about Chuck, you are always in my thoughts and prayers, email me anytime you want.
Love your niece,
