i send my dearest apologies and prayers to the Hefter family..at times life may seem unfair and take the person who had a good future ahead of them. Jacob I consider him a great friend and a role model of mine. He followed his dreams and graduated at the top of his class and had an amazing time in high school also made life long friends. He was taken away from us in an instant and all of us share the same pain of losing a beloved friend. When i heard what had happened I didn't want to belive it. The thought of losing such a great friend...was something I had never felt before in my heart. I love Jacob Hefter from the bottom of my heart and i miss and cherish every moment we ever had together. I realized today I looked up to the sky and didn't realize how amazing it was until I noticed you were up there.

Mr. Grace was such a positive force. I am so very sorry for the loss of this good man. I hope his family and friends can take some comfort that he will be remembered with such warmth and good thoughts by so many people. He was my landlord for 10 years. He and his family were kind and thoughtful. His family is in our prayers.

In the brief time we worked together, your ability to lift your patients and their families from their grief, anger, fear and anguish was an inspiration to us all.

I will never forget the night you sang at a KP ombudsman gathering. . .you filled our hearts with joy. . .and we will never forget you.

RIP. Robert. It upsets me that everyone is putting the blame on you. I believe you were a good man. People do make mistakes...Deep down inside I think something medical happen to you. The truth will come out even if it hurts. You and everyone on that train is in my prayers.

Hey Rob,

I wanted to stop by and say hello. I had the pleasure of meeting you on the Coast Starlight about 9 years ago out of SLO. You taught me so much about trains, and just life in general. You were one of the coolest guys that I had ever met. We seemed to hit it off right away. What happened this past Friday was truly a tragic accident. I am blessed you have known you and have been able to share my accomplishments with my friends that included you. Thanks for everything. May you rest in piece, my friend and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Christians please stop exploiting this tragedy to further your cause. Leave these people in peace, this man made a mistake but there is a lesson to be learned. When you are responsible for the lives of many people you must take your job seriously and not give way to distractions.

Just because people died does not give you the right to promote your Jesus message and to try to convert people.

May God bless the Hefter family, as well as Jacob's friends and loved ones through this time. I pray that you all may have the courage and strength to guide you. I didn't know Jacob, but I knew some of his family enough to know that he was and IS an amazing individual. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I first noticed Roger because of his British accent. We started talking and one of our favourite topics was Indian food. He told me that he loved Indian food and requested that for his birthday. He never fails to say good morning or have a nice weekend. He inquired to the well being of my two boys since he had two of them as well. My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife and sons.

Eternal rest grant unto you
