R.I.P. Mr. Grace
Atul I knew you in High School and didn't keep in touch after. I knew I would hear about you later in life discovering the cure for cancer or running for president. One of the smartest people Ive ever had the honor to have known. You were always willing to help anyone who asked you. I will always remember your smile. Every time I hear a certain song that was played at your funeral I think of you and all your inspirations in life. My prayers go out to your family. I will never forget you.
It has been well over a year since Mr. Long's passing and I am just now struck with the memory of his beautiful heart. My sophomore at Grace I decided to run. I joined cross country and was terrible at it. During my first race I got lost on the switch-backs and finished at about 45 minutes. All Mr. Long could say to me was how proud he was that I finished, that I stuck it out, that I did not give up. I was beyond embarassed yet he saw no reason for this. He saw past my in flaws and I believe he saw past most peoples flaws. What an admirable characteristic! I aspire to be this way. You are missed, loved, and admired Long! May God continue to bless your family.
Its been a while. Most people have forgotten this man, a true noble man. I never got the chance to write in this blog.. so i believe this should be the correct time. You shal be missed. :]

I remembered Manuel very well. I grew up In Santa Paula. Once in a while I check online to check up on things. I was shocked and disbelieved that him of all people is gone. I heard the news when it happened and I knew it was somebody from SP. Never in my mind did I think it was somebody I grew up with. My prayers will always be with the family
