Hello:
I had met Howard several times at school events involving his grandson, Travis. As principal of the school, I was able to observe his total devotion to his grandson. His optimism and sense-of-humor put everyone at ease. It was obvious that his family was his priority and their well-being and happiness meant everything to him.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Omg, this is seriously devastating.
He was my counselor for my 6-8th grade year. He was a truly remarkable person. He helped me though a lot of my problems and it was always fun to see him play football with us during lunch on the football field. It was great knowing him. I wished I still lived in the Glendale area but unfortunately I live all the way in South Carolina. R.i.p. I'll see you soon.

Mr. Long was my 7th-10th grade English teach at Grace Brethren. He would take time to mentor everyone and help anybody that needed it. He was a great person and a teacher that we could all learn from. He will be greatly missed.

Beverly and I graduated from high school in 1969 in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was a friend and loved by everyone. She was always smart, ambitious and compassionate. As we plan our 40th reunion for next year, she will be fondly remembered. On behalf of Campbell Senior High School Class of 1969, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Although I never met Chris, I mourn his death. Chris's brother, Garrett Berry is very near and dear to my heart and I know how Garrett mourns the loss of his brother. He is so saddened by the fact that he will never again have the chance to be with, or know better his only brother.
My sincere condolences to Chris's family and friends.
He was obviously very loved and cherished. I wish I could have known him.

Howie, My friend and co-worker,
I will miss our early morning talks and on the ways to save the world! The best part of my my day was trying to get a good laugh from you you. We always tried to make each other crack-up in the wrong place. I was so impressed with your scrabble playing and terrificly high scores WOW!!! My favorite story was when you were staying with Stewart and his family and making meat balls with your grandaughter. You had such a look of love and joy on your face!! You will dance in my heart! Our prayers go out to all of your family!
Our prayers to all of our family and firends.
