Roger ,you have been a in law to the Reberger's & Ottley's downunder for i guess 35yrs , not once have i heard a bad word said about the lanky Pom , mind you plenty of Pommy bashing but it was all in good jest. I remember with fondness of the time you brought Tiz,Matt & young Chris ,back home to Leeton & you never had a beer out of your hand the whole time , you got to celebrate a footy final's win with my local team . Then many yrs later i travelled to the u.s to visit with a mate Tonka whom you had never met but you Tiz & the boy's showed Tonka the same affection as you did to our clan from day dot. Tonka & i had just a great time with you even though that was 16 yrs ago it can be measured so easily because you were such a great host , we got to meet your workmates downtown in Hollywood , you introduced us to Clint Eastwood , Peter Fonda , we had a great social game of soccer with your mates down at some dustbowl , then off to your local for heaps of pints . Roger & Tizzy took us for day trips , nothing seemed to be to much trouble . We even had plenty of games of eucre where Rog was pretty good.
Just recently with our $ looking very strong against the u.s $ a trip to the states was looking good for my wife Antje & i ,i told her of what a great family the Spacey's are. I know in my heart that Antje would haved warmed to Roger just like our family has. Roger you will be missed by many , just make sure your at the gate when it's time to arrive there in heaven Rest in Peace mate

Such a devastating tragedy and terrible loss that anyone who ever met Ron would quickly attest to. In this time of terrible sadness and loss the only solace is the positive differences Ron made on the lives of those he met and the lifetimes for which are made better for having had Ron in them.

A great host and ambassador in all our visits to the USA, our thoughts and love are with our family over there, in life it is people that make the difference and not things or places and hopefully we can all take something of Ron's spirit that will help us all.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Officer DaSha. I can't help but respect her for serving on the Police Force. Spree is one of many wonderful officers who risk their lives daily to restore order & keep us all safe. Thank you.
I cried when I saw Spree's Life Partner on the news in the midst of her shock and grief. No doubt Spree was a very special woman who touched many lives.
I wish you - Her Partner,Parents, and Friends peace & comfort during this tragic time.

I had the honor of playing softball with Walt every Monday night for the last few years. He always had a smile on his face and was quietly a competitive player. Walt was the most gentle, kind and gracious man that I have known! I would alway's walk past him on my way to the outfield and say "gooday Walt" like in Crocadile Dundee. He would alway's laugh and smile. Walt is with Jesus now and I pray for his wonderful family as they are dealing with such a great loss. There is such peace knowing that when a loved one know's Jesus Christ as their savior, as Walt did, that we can truly celebrate his life, instead of focusing on the sting of death. It is going to be difficult not being able to see Walt on Monday nights but, he is now pitching for Jesus and his angels in Heaven :)You will be missed my friend!!!

It has been many years since I have spoken to either Paul or Karen. Paul was the youth pastor at Thousand Oaks Baptist Church and for the most part my brother and I were the only attenders. We spent a lot of time together at that time. We moved away in 1980 and I only saw them once since then. I was very shocked when I heard of the accident and I feel a great loss even though it has been 28 years. I wish now that I had kept in touch. I remember Paul as a great friend and a very Godly man. Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. We will all meet again in heaven.

I'm very saddened to hear he is no longer with us. He was always so nice to everyone. I would go to the city employees office and he'd always be there. I'm glad I was able to know him. Howard you'll be missed.
