Keep in mind
- The Times initially mispelled the name of Michael Hammersley and Beverly Mosley.
- The coroner's office reported a 26th victim the afternoon of Sept. 15, but a few hours later said the tally was 25.
My heart goes out to your family as we all grieve at this awful, surreal time in our lives.
The sovereign Lord of all has a plan, even when all else crumbles.
My home will never be the same and neither will yours. We will miss our loved ones terribly, but they are rejoicing with the Lord now. I am blessed to know Bailey and my heart bleeds for her loss and that of her family. Much love-
When I first heard the news about his death, I was completely shocked. The only thing that I want to say is may he rest in peace, and I hope people won't forget about this great councilor we once had. I went to Roosevelt for 06-07, and I still can't forget how he would always smile to all the students. plus, he changed all my classes each school year until 8th grade of course. I feel like crying right now, but I'll try to stop it. T_T
Dear Mrs. Fuller,
Although I have not had the pleasure of meeting your husband, Walt, this horrific accident has affected us all. Up until this Friday Sept. 12th, I have seen your smiling face on campus daily and I pray we will see your beautiful smile again. I am praying for you and your family!
With love,
My heart bleeds not only for your loss, but for that of my father, and the other 23 involved in that horrific day.
I know the Lord is sovereign and has a perfect plan through these fiery storms of life.
We are all praying constantly.
Much love from our grieving home to yours-
It was some good memories we shared when we both worked at Delta. You could always make me laugh. I feel responsible in a way that you were on that train because I asked you to come down for the interview on Friday. I will always be thinking about you bud. I miss your smile and your laugh. Im sorry.
My Dear Bev, My heart breaks that we did not get to have a last hug. So know that I am sending and feeling your hugs your presence, your joy and your energy. I am so proud of you.You accomplished so much and touched so many lives in such a short time. The love you have for your girls and your new Grandson will always be there to carry them through this sad time and for the rest of their lives.
Thank you for all of your support and your listening ear when I dropped into your office so many times to just chat and vent. I will miss you so much. My love to you and your family for you are my true "Soul Sister"
Aloha Tina---We are remembering how much fun we had with you and your Mom at the Smith Family reunion and our 50th anniversary on the island of Molokai in 2005. All the fun activities and so much fun with sweet Beverly who always smiled at work or play---what a loving and happy soul we all shall remember with love. We will miss her tender heart and loving spirit. We are praying for you and your family. We love you.
Warmest Aloha, Judy and Robert
To Howard's Family-
I just returned to riding the train in Sept. I would always see Howards smiling face on the train. The last time I saw him was on the 115 train on tues the 9th and I too heard him talk about the wonderful sunday evening at the bonaventure with his wife. He had us all laughing when he told us that the best part was the she had gone shopping in the jewlery mart and the garment district and "didn't spend a dime." My deepest symapthy goes out to his family.
I worked with Chris for years at TCI / Adelphia, and I played softball with him for years, also. He was the type of person that I've always looked forward to being around, whether it's for work or play. Yes, he was a kind and sincere friend, who was usually upbeat and engaging, but I'll always remember the fact that we were usually smart-asses with one another, with neither of us taking offense to the biting wit and jabs that we would direct at one another. It was a good-natured game that we both enjoyed, and he was a unique individual who obviously touched many lives.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all who mourn his loss, as he was taken much too soon...
Every great once in a while, you meet an amazing kindred spirit. Roger was a unique loving soul. I'll always remember his wonderful sense of humor and the tremendous sense of love you would feel as he spoke about his wife, boys and his lovely new grand-daughter.
My deepest condolences to the entire Spacey family. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing.
I'll never forget a soccer match, a pint and a proper English breakfast with Rog. God bless and keep him.
