I hadn't seen Beverly in probably 20 years, but I remember her laugh and beautiful smile instantly on hearing of her passing. What a wonderful soul she was. My love and prayers go out to Tina and Nicki at this time. Your mom was so proud of you two and you are a wonderful legacy to the life she made for you. God bless you both and I hope Kingston will feel the loving heritage he has and walk in God's ways. May God give comfort and peace to you all.

One of the things we loved about Walt was his sense of curiousity. That bright mind of his was always learning.
Our families met through baseball. We had about 10 years of games and travels. The Fuller's are a great family to travel with, every one of them a pleasure to know. When there weren't baseball games there were fishing trips and other vacations. Walt was always willing to lend a hand with whatever was needed coaching, keeping score, setting up, cleaning up. On our trip to Colorado for a tournament we rented a house for several families to share for the week. Walt started right in fixing things. I know he fixed the garbage disposal and a light and several other things. When we left he retrieved a sock hanging from the chandelier that was hanging from the ceiling on the second floor over the first floor entryway. It involved leaning off the balconey, but he got it. He did many good works. He was also great fun.
We wish peace to all of the Fuller family.

I never had the oppertunity to have Mr. Long as a teacher. Now that I hear about him, I wish that i had. Mr. Long was such an amazing man and now that he is gone he has taught me even more than he did while he was alive. Mr. Long taught me how to love God and how to live my life for him. He taught me how good people can really leave an impact on people's heart forever. He taught me how much life matters and how short it is. But mostly, Mr. Long taught me how much the people in your life matter to you and how you can't take each day with them for granted. This year I will live for Mr. Long. I want to make him proud. I know that I can.

Love your friend,
Anna

Dear Maria, Scott and Jeanette,
I am in such shock after receiving the tragic news about Dennis!
I've known Bunky since we were both in Mrs. Johnson's 5th. grade class at Betsy Ross elementary school in Mar Vista. He was always special: kind, talented and a friend to all. I had quite a crush on him! We were friends and "compadres" in part due to the fact we were probably the only two Republican kids in a sea of Democratic classmates, (or at least the only two brave enough to stand up and vote Republican when "mock" elections were held at school).
Bunky and I went on to Venice Jr. and Sr. High School and then to Brigham Young University. We remained friends thru the years, and I always looked forward to seeing him at our Class of '51 Venice High Reunions. He and Earl and Rich were the best entertainment ever. Their music was great and their homespun humor made us all laugh. I was so pleased to meet you, Maria, at the reunions. I remember sitting with you and Bunky at one of the dinners and seeing the pride and love you had for Bunky. I could also see how much he loved you and his children. Like all of his many, many friends, I thought the world of him. We share the same faith and trust in our Heavenly Father's Plan of Salvation. I know you will be reunited as an Eternal Family one day. May you find comfort and peace in that knowledge, and may your grief and sorrow lessen as you feel the prayers of so many who loved Dennis and care so much for you.

God bless you and your family. HE WAS ONE OF A KIND!

When i heard the news about the Metrolink tragedy, i was shocked to hear about my past middle school counselor Ron Grace had past away in such short notice. I went to Roosevelt Middle School in 2003-2004 school year. I will always remember how he encourage me to join AVID and take me to advance classes. Even though, I only remember him from the past, he was a great person. i just wished him that he is in rest in peace place and that our memories about him will stay with us. We are going to miss him...

I didn't know Jacob, but everything I hear about him sounds like he was a awsome young man to know. My prayers are with the Hefter Family and Stephaine. Jacob is in heaven now and one day you will all be together. For now he will be in your hearts always and forever.
God Bless you all.

It always makes me happy when my wife informs me that my sister Andrea is coming to dinner, but it got even better during the past year when that news meant that Chuck would be at our table too. He always came in the door with a bright smile on his face and often made his first order of business to sit down to a game of chess with my young son David. He was clever and thoughtful and funny and so alive. I cry for my sister's loss, but I cry for my own as well.
