Keep in mind
- The Times initially mispelled the name of Michael Hammersley and Beverly Mosley.
- The coroner's office reported a 26th victim the afternoon of Sept. 15, but a few hours later said the tally was 25.
I knew Robert Sanchez and will always remember his kind smile and gentle nature. He loved his mother and his dogs. I cannot believe he would have killed innocent people on purpose. He was too gentle of a man.
I hope you find peace, my friend
Blessings and Peace to all who lost loved ones in this terrible accident
As much as it hurts to see Ron's office empty. As hard as it is to think that Roosevelt students and adults lost a great mentor and spirit of life and education. There are so many memories that are being share at school by everyone that only brings smiles and sunshine to the atmosphere. Even though every one at school is heartbroken and is in pain, these fun memories and stories brighten up these dark days. God bless and cherish his sole and his family!
To know Beverly is to love Beverly. She has touched so many lives in so many profound ways. She made my father belive in love again. She was to me, the epitome of a strong black woman. Beautiful, soulful, intelligent, articulate, and always carried herself with such style and grace. I am so blessed and thankful that God brought her into our lives, if only for such a short time. Bev, I love you dearly, and you will always live on in my heart and my memories. Jovan and I will forever remember your smile and all of the wonderful times we shared. We will continue to make you proud. Love Always, Your daughter from another mother

I can honestly say that I have never had a better English teacher in my life. I can remember being in chapel one Wednesday morning as my 8th grade year was coming to an end. Mr. Long shared with us that day. I saw his passion for the Lord immediately and right away I was looking forward to having him as a teacher the upcoming year for English. On our first day of school that next year, I walked into class and sat down in the front row. Just like every teacher, he passed out the rules, what we would need for the school year, the parent signature papers and some other ones. As he was going through the guidlines with us, he suddenly pulled out a bucket and said ,"Yes, I did watch High School Musical this summer and I loved Ms. Darbus' idea for taking away cell phones in class. So this is the cell phone bucket in honor of Ms. Darbus!" That's something I will always remember. He loved to go off on tangents about Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, but always tied it back in with Literature. His love for God was shown more clearly to me that semester and he cared so much about what was going on in our lives and always wanted to know how he could pray for and with us. He was so encouraging. I was so sad when he left in the middle of the school year. A couple of us went and said goodbye and gave him hugs. I had seen him around a few times after that and he would still ask how I liked school, what God was doing in my life. I know that Mr. Long was sent to this earth for a reason and I know he has fulfilled it and is living, REJOICING, with Jesus now. I will miss you Mr. Long, but by the promise of Jesus Christ and the hope we have in Him, I know I will see you again very soon.

Ron was such a kind and gentle soul. He was a lovely person who touched so many lives with his joy and generosity. Roosevelt misses him so deeply and we can only imagine the heartbreak his family feels. Our condolences to his family. We will hold you his family in our thoughts and prayers in this time of sorrow.
Uncle Chuck was always so much fun. He always made the family laugh and was joking around with everyone. We were excited for him to be closer and excited for his marriage to Andrea. We will never forget his smiles and his amazing sense of humor. We'll never forget when you waited for over 12 hours at the airport to make it to our wedding. Cousins--if you need anything--we are always here for you. You will never be forgotten and you are loved and missed very much.
I had the honor of knowing and working with Walt for the last few months. He would great me every morning with a big smile. Talk about how blessed we were to have such a great Family. He became a Friend I will never forget. I will miss our morning coffee before the work began. God be with his family that he loved so very much.
To Andrea and Chuck's family, though I have not met you, I am terribly sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. From everything I have heard about Chuck, he obviously was a man full of life and love, and I know you will truly miss him. God bless you all.
