Beverly,

I will miss you very much and I know that many other people will miss you as well. I learned so much from you when I started with Kaiser 13 years ago and your smile and wonderful personality will be something that I will always remember.

Sharon and Family,
We never had the honor of meeting Chris but can see how much he was loved and will be missed by all. Chris is watching over you and sending you his love and light... Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To the Magdaleno family, my deepest sympathy and prayers. From what I've been reading, she must have been an awesome friend and sister. Only God knows why these things happen. Feel priviliged and honored to know that she will serve as an inspiration to the hispanic community. She was pursuing her dreams and that is what we all must do. God Bless you all and know that Jesus loves you and he takes care of us. Know and believe in your heart that you will see her again. Just as we will see Jesus one day, Aida is God's hands now. Life is a dream and heaven is a reality. God bless you!

My heart was saddened to hear this news. I had the privilege of having Mr. Long as a teacher at Grace Brethren High School. His love for God was evident in everything that he did. He was a caring teacher who prepared us for life beyond high school, while being a true example of what it means to live your life for God. His love for his family was also evident. He loved you so much and was so proud of Devin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both as you go through this difficult time.

Kim,

Your family shows an amazing display of connection to spirit
that grows more profound as you are thrown into the public light. Your programs based on rhythm instruments have offered a far reaching level of acceptance and pure fun for anyone who cares to participate, an extended family with enough love and acceptance for all. This legacy will continue to grow and serve as we now have confidence that a strong good spirit is always there.

I was shocked to hear of Dean's death. I couldn't imagine how you could manage the care of family, I couldn't imagine your group putting on a performance without him there to help. Now I realize he will be there, of course.

Love and Blessings,

Laudine Borges

I never met Chris, I don't know Sharon, or the girls, but I do know the man that sat next to Chris on that Friday. My co-workers brother-in-law got off the train at Chatsworth & is in mourning for his "train family", barely being able to speak of the ride home that day. He did however share something with his family on Sun. He said that he & Chris had a great converation on the ride to Chatsworth (along with another victim), laughing, sharing a couple stories about their families. Upon exiting the train, they shook hands bid each other a good weekend & Chris' last words were "I will, can't wait to get home to my wife & spend the weekend with our twin daughters". It wasn't until I read about Chris here, did I realize that it is the same man that my friend sat next to.

I thought it may help a little to know that just moments before the accident, you, Sharon, & your girls where what he was talking about.

I too knew a victim on the train & upon attending his services tonight will say a prayer for your family & all of those lost that day.

Peace be with you.

Ron's passing was a huge loss for us all. Our kids grew up with his and we consider them our own. It will be a long haul for us all getting used to not having Ron around.
At first I was so happy at all the friends, relatives and neighbor's that rallied around that weekend to help but now it is five days past and there are still way too many people hanging around the house. They need to know your sentiments, but they need privacy to grieve too.
Another tragedy hit the Grace family on Monday when their beloved dog was hit by a car and killed. Makes you wonder how much a person can take!
I'm grateful for my association with this remarkable family - a kind and loving wife, smart and happy kids, and Ron - whose impact on life you can easily see when you read all these comments.
We love you Grace Family. Ron is in a better place than we are, that's for sure!
