Our lives are forever changed. Not one day goes by that I don't think of Bryan, mourn for the tragic loss of his life, mourn for his mother and father, mourn for his son and his family. I don't know why this had to happen Bryan. I wish had gotten the chance to know you but from what I know and the stories I have been told, you were an amazing man who honored our country and kept us safe. You will never be forgotten or thought about every single day. Preston and Clay miss you. My son mourns your loss. May you rest in peace and dance with the angels for all eternity. To your mother and father, your son, your family, my deepest sympathies. May God Bless each and everyone you left behind with peace and healing in their hearts and on the days when their feet cannot carry them because of their grief, let God carry you in his right hand. God Bless you Bo, you are missed, you are remembered. I would like to leave a comforting message in the bible here at psalms 34:18 Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart And those who crushed he saves The bible also Gives hope to our dead love ones hope at John 5:28,29 Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out I hope that in your time of sadness this can comfort you Mon, 15 Oct 2012 12:16:02 -0700 Robert Henderson on September 10, 2012 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/california-based/alec-r-terwiske/#c86122 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/california-based/alec-r-terwiske/#c86122 My heartfelt sorrow to the Terwiske family on the lost of Alec. When we lose a love one in death, the pain, the grief, and the feeling of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times we need to go to God's Word for comfort(2 Corinthians 1:3,4). The Bible helps us to understand how God(Jehovah)(Psalms 83:18) and Jesus(God's son)(John3:16) feel about death. Jesus knew the pain of losing someone in death( His close friend Lazarus) (John11:32-35). what Jesus next did is of great encouragement to all of us (read John11:40-44) yes the resurrection hope. (John 5:28,29). So the the resurrection tells us about Jehovah's love and undeserved kindness. when the dead return to life, whom do you especially want to see? Terwiske was my son. He was always a good kid. He always had a big smile on his face and was one of the most polite people I have ever been around. This is a very difficult time for me but, I will get through it because all I have to do is think about that big smile on his face and it helps to take the pain away. He was a brave young man and proud of his country and proud to be a Marine. I know he wanted to watch me walk in gradation.Get my prom picture. Watch me walk down the isle. At 17 i lost my brother, but i gained an angel. Mon, 10 Nov 2008 08:43:27 -0800 Adam on October 31, 2008 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/bryan-e-bolander/#c4508 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/bryan-e-bolander/#c4508 This is a message from all of the soldiers who served with Bryan while in the Duece. To Marcia we are all sorry to hear about your loss; aswell as to Bryans family. We were together in the initial push into Iraq, through all of the training we had to do to prepare he was always pushing other people to stay in and never give up. He will not be forgotten and will always be remembered. After all he was one of the few, like we all were, who were not afraid to do the job that had to be done. Bryan or as we called him "Bo" was always happy if I were to write out all of the things he had done it would fill up a novel. He will be missed. As for the Bryan he had bravery and courage of a spartan but a little known secret was his compassion that he showed when no one was looking, after all it was part of the job. I have seen to many friends come and go, I shall honor and continue to defend them all agianst all who talk about the war from a distance. Always smiling and always happy, that was bryan.
