We met right after my first tour and right before he left on his 2nd. It was brief but I told him when he gets back we will have to go out for a beer. I have a bracelet which i wish I never had to wear. It has Micks name and the day we lost him. I did two more tours in Iraq and wore it everyday. I still wear it to this day. Keep the beer cold up there brother I will be up at some point. You are my hero! For your sacrifice, words do little to describe our sincere gratitude. However, There is a hope for a future where such wonderful people will not have to die in the wars of the world. ISAIAH 2:4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore....REV 21:3,4-"death will be no more" Sat, 31 Mar 2012 10:56:57 -0700 James on December 16, 2011 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/mick-r-bekowsky/#c64389 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/mick-r-bekowsky/#c64389 I wish I could post on all the pages. Fri, 16 Dec 2011 01:11:28 -0800 Just Because on November 15, 2011 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/mick-r-bekowsky/#c62426 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/mick-r-bekowsky/#c62426 I noticed no one has left a comment on this young man's page and that just makes me sad. I want to thank him for his service and being so brave to protect and fight for our country. I don't really agree with war, but i am able to appreciate a hero when i see or read about one. I know he's resting in peace. My condolences to this young man's family. Tue, 15 Nov 2011 12:18:26 -0800
