Matt was great! We went to kindergarten thru high shcool toghether and he always greeted me with a smile. We reconnected a couple months before his death by exchanging emails catching up with each other. He was so proud to be married and was so happy to be coming home within a month..... His funeral was impressive and very sad, because he was so young. Hearing the news was a shock, and I will never forget him. <3

He was a great man in and out of high school. A group of us chargers joined the army out of high school and he is a driving force for me as I continue on in my army career. I have his hero bracelet I wear as a reminder everyday.
