During these interactions he was correct more times than I was and it helped me grow as a person and a Soldier. He was the consummate professional and is what I have and continue to measure every Warrant Officer and Officer I have served with against. In a word Keith was the "Standard" of what a Soldier, Husband, Father and brother should be!! I miss you and not a day goes by that I don't think about you and Jason. God Bless you and your family. brother. You were talking to me about becoming an officer. I did it and I know you would be proud. You are always in my thoughts and you will Never be forgotten. The Angles now hold you in their arms. Til we meet again, Sir Thu, 22 Aug 2013 11:47:27 -0700 Bill on August 22, 2013 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/keith-yoakum/#c129279 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/keith-yoakum/#c129279 Best damn Warrant Officer I ever met. God speed sir. The work ethic he brought to the table was truly second to none, and I knew I could never hold myself to the standard he set. He was a phenominal mentor, and a true professional to the core. I miss him deeply. He was truly an aviator and always a pleasure to work for. I feel truly blessed to have known him and to have learned from him and I am truly saddened that there are so many in the community who will never have the chance to experience that. His ability to make others better at what they do is unmatched and seemingly universal to all that come in contact with him. I am truly blessed to have known Keith Yoakum.
