I went to high school with him and he would help out as many people as he could then. If you needed an extra $1 to buy a soda, needed to borrow his sneakers to play basketball he would not hesitate to help someone out. James was a great kid and obviously a great man that died a hero. I spent 7 years in the Army so I understand how brave he was to do the job that he did and I'm am truly thankful for his sacrifice.
