The lessons he taught me lasted my entire time in the Corps. I will never forget him and thank him for being a friend and brother. I hope his family realizes that he lives in all of us. As long as a man is remembered, he is never gone. He was so cute! When he got older we were like partners in crime, we were the ones to get always in trouble with our mother. He was a wise man, he had a good hart, there was something very special about his personality, he was very likable kind of guy. I feel so honored to be his sister and I am so proud of him, at 13 years of his passing my pain still there and it will never go away. I thank all of his friends and all of the ones who knew him and remember him, for posting stories about Jorge and expressing words of love for him, it makes me happy to know he will not be forgotten. I love you always and forever little brother and I am missing you very much. We just knew! What we didn't want to know or hear. He had been KIA! I miss my brother so much! But the stories & comments I read on this post makes me feel a little bit better knowing that he hasn't been forgotten. Thank you for keeping his memories alive! Love you my dear brother, SSgt Jorge A Molina Bautista❤️😘 Translation: Durante estos dias de Mayo 23-Memorial Day, todos estos recuerdos se me vienen a la mente; el dia que recibi esa llamada de mi cuñada llorando diciendo, "hay un grupo de Marines en mi casa." En ese momento ya sabíamos! Lo que no queriamos saber o escuchar! El habia muerto en accion. Extraño a mi hermano mucho! I am the second oldest, I was 11; Mike our brother was 10; and Jorge was 9 years old at that time. Our mom needed to work so I would watch over my little brothers. Anyway, I was going to cook dinner and I needed rice & tomatoes from the store. Jorge & Mike were playing outside and I called Jorge and asked him to go to the store to get the stuff I needed so he went on to the store (so I thought) . He came back later and said, here are the things you asked for. I said, where are the tomatoes? Jorge: "Oh No! Mike forgot the tomatoes!" Me: "JORGE YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE GOING TO THE STORE NOT MIKE! I asked you!" And that's when he got caught! We found out he would ask Mike instead of going himself to the store, then Jorge would bring the stuff to me, making me think he was the one who went to the store. Jorge was very smart and he would find ways to get away from doing his chores. I miss him so much! Moilna-Bautista. I remember chatting with you back at the CP In Blue Diamond. I remember you were real down to earth and a real nice guy. Especially for a staff NCO. You always had a friendly word and always provided a littel intel when you we would be leaving on missions or preparing for one, even though we weren't part of your unit. A little tid bit for when we'd be outside the wire. Something you might know, that we hadn't been briefed on. It showed you cared about your fellow Marines in general and not just your immediate unit. Thank you for caring and Semper Fi Marine! Tue, 16 Sep 2014 12:54:31 -0700
