Wasn't the first or last I had transported, but when his remains were loaded and throughout, he stood out. I read the manifest and knew when the time came for his return to American soil that I would be part of the guard. Strange, but he is still the symbol of those soldiers who I shared the years with over those conflicts. R.I.P...
