I only knew you for a short period of time but you were always a big brother to me. I'll always remember your infectious smile, personality, and pride that you had for your people and your hometown of Delano. I remember one of the last conversations I had with you and I'll never ever forget when you told me that you would die for your country if you had to. I get emotional thinking about it bro but the only thing that makes me feel at peace is knowing that you loved serving your country. Every time I see a flag or stand for the National Anthem I always blow you kiss and say your name, man. I miss you, I thank you, and I can't wait to see you again at them pearly white gates in Heaven. We played Little League for LACA (Latin American Community Association). Through the years we became good friends and played sports together throughout High School together. He Was a respectable young man with a good heart. To this day whenever I coach I tell my kids about him. His spirit lives on and continues to inspire others. You may be gone but never forgotten...... Or as I would call him... The man. I played little league baseball against him and from back then to high school he always push you to be the best that you could be. A true role model. I didn't see him again until high school and man was he massive. Built like a man but his kindness and humor never change. He was "the man." Thank you for who you are, we're and always will be. Never forget you bro and god bless the family. Heaven has another angel... Hard work, sacrifice, ambition, and honor. I remember his beaming confidence and pride; his drive to excel in sports and school; and his patriotic desire to serve his country. I'm proud and honored to have known him as a teammate, schoolmate, and friend. Every Memorial Day, I make it a point to share and reflect with my students to humbly acknowledge and appreciate the ultimate sacrifice made by Osbaldo Orozco (and his family). God Bless.
