We were the Class of 2001 at Long Beach Jordan High School. I remember seeing him in the hallways with his friends on my way to my AP and IB classes. He just exuded positivity! I once saw his poster on the high school walls for a production he was in and I thought to myself, "he is definitely going places and has a bright future ahead". Brave he was to the end. What I admired the most about him was that, he too answered the call of country to serve in the United States military. He put aside his future ambitions and aspirations to serve in the Armed Forces.
