He sent me several letters and e-mails describing the pride he felt in doing so. He stated " momma, I wouldn't be anywhere else or be doing anything else than where and I am today" this was a statement he made to me from one of his four tours he served in Iraq. He had a passion to "free the oppressed". He also continually asked about his family sometimes naming each one and at the end would say " sorry if I forgot anyone". He will forever be remembered for his bravery, passion and love for others, as well as his country! May you continue to pray for our military and their families. God Bless you and yours.
