He was far more mature than most men his age. He talked about his wife with respect you would expect of much older man. He loved his family. He spoke of them often, and he passed too soon. I think about him often. He was a great guy to know. Semper Fi, and I hope you watch over the family you spoke so highly of. I wish you were here. For your sacrifice, words do little to describe our sincere gratitude. However, There is a hope for a future where such wonderful people will not have to die in the wars of the world. ISAIAH 2:4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore....REV 21:3,4-"death will be no more" Sat, 31 Mar 2012 10:38:25 -0700 BM on December 2, 2011 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/salem-bachar/#c63443 https://projects.latimes.com/wardead/name/salem-bachar/#c63443 Was one of his instructors at Intel school in Virginia Beach. A remarkable young man, his loss will be felt by many forever. We honor all the dead, we miss them all. But in the words of one Officer, he was special, he was truly a good kid, 'he was one of the good ones', his death had severe impact on us all; even after three years of war. I knew him only from a distance, and it was obvious that he was well loved and respected by this fellow Marines. It was an honor to serve with him. Sun, 08 Jun 2008 11:42:17 -0700
